I started my business in August 2007

Therapeutic massage
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After 20 years as a teacher, human service provider and a quality improvement consultant for long term care providers, I was able to return to school and pursue a long-deferred goal.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Massage is a very personal experience. Each individual seeking massage responds to a therapist's skills, approach, personality, and communication style. I try to help clients decide whether the fit is good by listening closely to their goals and preferences, by sharing my philosophy about bodywork, and being authentic and present in my relationship with each of them.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I provide massage at my clinic space at 617 N. Segoe Road, at Horizon Health and Fitness in Middleton, and at the homes of clients throughout Dane County. I also provide on-site chair massage to businesses in Dane County.
